Poetry: Isn’t it funny

There are times when I really want to blog, but I just don’t have the time to dedicate to crafting a well-written post and gather my thoughts in a cohesive way. Most of the time when I feel like this, I’ll pull out my phone if I can and let my thoughts quickly spill out in a poem. They’re not masterpieces, but I’ve decided to share them from time to time in lieu of a proper post (though I will write some more of those soon too). Whenever I upload a poem I’ll indicate this in the post’s title. Here’s a quick thought I had on the likely billions of decorate items in the world to choose from when we style our houses. Hope you like it x

Isn’t it funny

How there are an endless

Number of objects

In the world

With which we can

Embellish our houses

Thousands of fabrics

Pieces of original art

Metal craft and glass

Unique photos

Ornaments and sculptures

From cultures near and far

Yet we all

Sit in our front rooms,

Looking at an IKEA candle
